It’s very important that from the moment your child’s baby teeth come through at a young age, that parents assist in brushing and flossing their teeth and that they have fun whilst doing it! We often recommend consistent routines every morning and every night, and as your child grows, that they continue to understand the importance of keeping their teeth clean and preventing sugar bugs from getting to them! We often recommend to see children initially around 12-18 months of age, as this will allow them to familiarise themselves with the dental environment, and for us to instil good habits in them, whilst being able to pick up on any early issues before its too late! Regular dental checkups every 6-12 months (depending on their decay risk) is recommended so that your child grows up with regular dental routines and healthy teeth!
